| Summary | 0002225: Improve repo handling for kernels, contribs and devel packages |
| Description | Please feel free to split this into separate tracker items.
1) Kernels
With the existing repo system, only the latest kernel/kernel-devel packages are available. That's problematic for folks who need to build against the kernel (not everything is kmod-able).
2) Contribs
The workflow from clearos-test to contribs does not provide a nice bet testing phase. Is it possible for the workflow to be: clearos-test -> clearos-updates-testing -> contribs
3) Devel packages
Similar to the kernel issue. When a new package is moved from clearos-test to clearos-updates-testing, the sister packages (e.g. daq-devel) are moved to clearos-addons right away. That means the -devel package is available before the main package. |
